It might be a good thing that heat generating incandescent lighting has largely been replaced by LED, which should give rise to a reduced fire risk. Time will tell, however it is always worth using quality products that have been adequately tested and certified. Poor quality components, poor quality power supplies and cheap controllers are simply not worth the risk.
